I see Uno X showing their hard men of the North bona fides, but Billy Kristoff is ancient by their standards and the young Norsemen will be the aggressors. Theyāve got some power ballers. Maybe he has a great day as a result?
Lots of racing between now and then though.
Kristoff one of the (many) guys who hit the deck at De Panne, but I think he walked away relatively unscathed.
UnoX have a legion of strongmen and they seem to always come to play. Hard to know who among them will get a result, theyāve got a bunch of guys who have looked great so far - though to be honest I kind of have trouble keeping track of their names, and having two sets of brothers on the team doesnāt help.

Mads, Lamperti
Kristoff was their second best rider with 21st at PR last season, 8 seconds back of Pidcock, winning the group sprint from guys like Teunissen, Naesen, Laporte, and Bisseger. Heās already got a win this season, and he needs three more to wind up his last season with 100 for his career. Heās always in with a shot, and they will absolutely be looking to send him up the road.
Heās definitely not even close to a favorite, but heās still a hitter and heās the kind of rider to whom the peloton will allow a longer leash.
I think theyād let him do whatever he feels, but Iād be surprised if he plays it that way. I see him within a strong chase group.
Consonni was pretty impressive in that sprint, though. Kool having trouble getting out of the blocks so far this year. Megan Jastrab is back healthy again, and maybe can help at some point.
MvdP WvA Ganna
Mads MattyJ
WvA probably need to sharpen things a bit, but I think he has a good chance of winning against MvdP if in a group of 3 or more. In a two-up, he might get drawn into a sprint from slow speed.
Iām confused. Are we all talking about the same Vermeersch? UAE has Florian. Alpecin has Gianni. Theyāre both strong on this sort of terrain, but Florian is the one who was 2nd in PR a few years ago.
I remember watching a race a few years ago (Antwerp Port Classic?) where both were involved in a small-group finale. Carlton Kirby kept insisting they were brothers, no matter how many times I shouted at the screen that they were unrelated.

I was talking about Gianni, and yup; heās never podiumed at PR. 6th last year, though.

McNulty Signs-On at the start!
Late entry. Crossed the centerline. Woke up early and said whoops, Friday race. If Iām relegated I will not appeal the commissars decision. Totally following faster wheels here with my picks.
Shoulda taken Sonny Jorgensenā¦
Maybe just a yellow card commissioner @WannaB ?
E3 heating up w/ Mads, Ganna and MvdP shaking things up 80 km out!
whoops, Friday race
That almost got me too. Itās up to WannaB, but Iād say you got in before punches were thrown just now.
Yippee, race on!
Killer bees totally missed the boat again. I havenāt had good vibes about WvA all year.
Free McNulty!
Ooph, might be a foregone conclusionā¦
Donāt want to watch another procession.
