My grandma had a magnet on her fridge that said “God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference“.
This is one of those things to just relax and not worry about, because you can’t change it.
Well I could actually change it. I just found a flight out of Montreal (where ATCs are getting paid) and my Boston flights are refundable but it would mean coming back a day later. But an extra day in sunny Spain would not be the worst thing in the world.

I’m in the “what’s going to happen, will happen” boat. I’m significantly more concerned about the flights out than return since I have a domestic layover but I think my issue will be general DFW problems not necessarily an issue with ATC.
Even with a delay, I’m excited for being in Spain for awhile so the trip out isn’t worth the stress.
If Boston and Montreal are a equidistant drive for your piece of mind you can just do the Montreal thing!!! I am flying out of Ottawa tomorrow.
