Well…best-laid plans don’t always turn out. After 15 years of racing triathon, I purchased my dream bike on 10/28/24. Unfortunately, recurring running injuries and a move have takin me out of the game.
This bike retailed from Trek at $12k. My lbs gave me a deal for $1k off retail price.
I track all of my miles in training and racing.
This bike has exactly 2491 trainer miles (wahoo kickr direct drive) and exactly 52.2 miles on the road for one outdoor ride last summer.
Bike has no scratches, chips, dings…anything. It is bascially brand new.
When I ordered it, I had the lbs add the SRAM aero 1x chain ring, flat top chain and SRAM Red cassette. SRAM Red 1x group.
I also purchased the shimano pedals new with the bike.
Adamo ISM PN.1 saddle included.
Extra SRAM battery and charger included.
Project one welcome kit, including precision torque wrench.
Down tube hydration bottle included but I never installed it.
The paint is flat matte charcoal with all of the Trek emblems in Gold.
It’s ridiculously fast and looks amazing.
