Has anyone had any experience with this bike? Kind of interested in having something that’s not a Cervelo/Trek/Specialized/Felt… but my impression historically has been that fuji has had a lackluster reputation.
I had last years D6 w/ Sram Red.
Fantastic bike. I sized down one from my road bike size.
It was stiff and light. I liked the horizontal drops and short head tube.
Good luck.
I like mine, I can get a good position on a lot of bikes, but the Fuji rides very nicely. I have no problems doing the occasional fast group ride.
The downside to this bike is that building them is a pain, but they tend to require very little day to day adjustment. If setup correctly, switching out the front end is very fast.
I have the d6 2.0 and love/hate it. It handles far better than any other bike I’ve been on but the rims seem very squirly in wind. I did switch the handle bars to a more comfortable (for me) Profile t2+ and cobra setup.
Anyone have advice on deep carbon clinchers getting loose-feeling when at speed or in wind?
Ive only ridden once with nasty crosswind… it was ok… nothing TOO insane…
I love the bike and always get compliments on it because nobody ever sees them
the rear brake can be tricky to get centered on new wheels, and usually tires need to be deflated before inserting them in the rear brake… but thats not TOO big of an issue as long as you remember to do this if you flat…
After a month with d6 2.0 I’ve come to love it. The initial vibrations were caused by a loose stem and wind combo.
The bike rides smooth and fast and is comfortable.
Hi,
i would like to ask you if you didn’t have any issue with the rear brake on the D6 and the S80 wheels. (talking about the clearance for the rim)
Thanks
