Okay, wouldn’t we really like to know: who, how, what do some of the “thinking groups”…ahhmmm…marketing groups and management gurus come up with the stuff they do?
I know I’ve been part of debates, discussions, etc. for marketing purposes; but you have to ask yourself some simple, basic questions when coming up with “stuff”…, so Ceepo is going to introduce the 2011 Climax…nothing more to say than F-Ing Hilarious!!! Hopefully they will be sponsored by KY and have a few of Hef’s Playmates racing on the bike at Kona…how’s that for marketing wisdom?
While I agree that many minds will go towards the type of “Climax” you are hinting at, the definition of “Climax” is not sexual. Basically, you are a perv and that’s not what they meant. ha!
It would be interesting to know if they are actively seeking the type of reaction they are going to get with the name. I work in marketing and I can’t tell you how many things like this get overlooked because marketers are talking to themselves and lose sight of what a consumer will think or take away from a message.
My point exactly…sometimes you need to go outside the bubble to see how/what the public view and perception may or may not be.

This is a super sexy bike, not sure how well I would fit on it though as I can’t find numbers on it. Besides, while I may fantasize about the Climax, I go running back to my 596!!
So what is the price for a frameset ? And by climax do they mean the fruitation of hard efforts in the wind tunnel? Or the final bike that they can never beat again “The One”. Whats the next one going to be. The after sex ciggerette?
There is one BIG advantage to the 596 above all other TT bikes. Its a simple little elastomer in the seat post!! It rules!! Its the most comfy bike I’ve ever ridden. Right on par or better then the Zipp 2001’s I’ve owned.
If they are from a sourthern european country they can be forgiven for there tasteless use of the english language, otherwise its just plain awful. I never heard of them so I have no idea who they are, but it seems to me that carbon molds are too easy to make as clearly a 5 year old made this one. Its plain ugly.
