Looking into buying a quarq, not sure about bottom bracket compatibility. I have a 2010 Quintana Roo Seduza with an FSA bottom bracket that says Omega on it. Any info on what quarq/bottom bracket I need? Thanks!
I have a 2010 QR Seduza and have been looking to get a Quarq sometime soon, too. The Omega bottom bracket is a MegaExo, which is an English-threaded 68mm BB, similar to SRAMs GXP. So, if you’re looking at a SRAM Quarq, you’ll need the SRAM GXP BB. The Red offers ceramic bearings, and the Rival/Apex offers a lower cost solution (I think the Rival and Apex BBs are the same). You might already know that even though they are both English-threaded 68mm bottom brackets, they are not necessarily compatible - the spindle diameters can vary.
