2010 Kuota k-Factor?

I just sold my 2004 Cannondale Tri-bike and I’m looking at buying a 2010 Kuota K-Factor. Is this a good bike for a full Ironman?

Yes. I am the proud owner of an '09 model & still rocking on it now.

I have a 2009 Kuota Kalibur and love the bike. My only reservation would be the Kuota brand itself. I cracked the seatpost on my Kalibur (over torqued it) and had a very difficult time finding a replacement seat post since Kuota has basically pulled out of North America. I know there was a distributor in Canada trying to reestablish a distribution network last year, but do not know how successful they were.

I’m not sure if the bike will fit. I’m 5’11" and it’s a med frame. How tall are you and what size frame do you have?

I ride a 2010 K Factor and rode it at IM Louisville a few weeks ago. I’ve been very happy with it (I’ve had it about 15 months and have SRAM red with R2C shifters). I’m 5’10 and I think I have a medium frame. Just consider the previously mentioned distribution situation.

I have a 2009 too, and love it. It’s a fine for IM racing - did a 5h25 spit in Lake Placid on it. However, if I was to buy new right now, I am not sure I would because of said distribution issue.

My screen name pretty much says it all. My frame size, which you can see listed in my bike fit coordinates of my profile, are XS, so I can’t help you.

However, what CAN help is to use the search feature for stack and reach coordinates for a Medium Kuota and see if it compares favorably with what you already ride.

i have the same ride - Its a medium and I am just over 5’10". Bike is great, just wish I was faster - but thats not the bikes fault.
