A heads up for anyone planning on going to Louisville for USAC Masters Natz. All events this year will be full UCI rules. This has the most profound effect on the time trial. The TT tech inspection for each rider on their bike is currently scheduled for 3 minutes before the rider’s start time. This is especially troublesome as it raises the question of there being time to ask for and get measured for an exception to the 5cm setback rule, and also does not leave time for changes if one’s bike is found not in compliance. Several of us have asked that a preliminary tech inspection be done the night before the TT to address some of these issues.
