Getting ready to purchase the 2008 Felt B2…anyone dealt or rode the bike yet with a review?
Do you know how much difference (besides price and zipps) there is between the B2 and B2 Pro?
And now there is B12? Comes with lower quality carbon and 105… Even more options!
The differences between the two bikes are the wheelset, the crank and the brake calipers.
The Felt “official” (i.e., the only price we can put in writing anywhere) price is: B2; $3599. B2 Pro; $5999.
If you do the accounting on buying a B2 and then purchasing the upgraded components to get to the B2 Pro spec as aftermarket items the B2 Pro saves you $1333.96 not counting any money for labor for installation of the items.
I know this is a totally girly thing to say, but I love the way the bike matches the kit matches the helmet.
Thank you for noticing. That’s what happened when we hired professional photographers and production people to shoot some of the photos on our website. The quality of the images went up significantly.
These are the guys who helped us with that B2 Pro shoot:

That photo shoot was quite a production with mobile lighting, camera vehicles and traffic stopped along the Ford Proving Ground. Big fun.
Happy Holidays My Dear.
Tom has pretty much covered it, the B2 and B2 Pro frames are exactly the same.
The B2 Pro is a great way to go if your shopping list also includes wheels, but having just got out of the wind tunnel with the Zipp 606 front wheel and the Felt TTR2 front wheel, the difference the wind sees is much smaller than I anticipated.

What up, I picked up the ol’ 08 B2 at the end of November. I haven’t hit the roads with it yet, North Dakota winters are a doozy, but it feels like a champ on the trainer. I must say it is one sexy bitch, the yellow accents rock the party that rocks the pinata. I will post pics of it at the beginning of the New Year. I must say that of all the bikes I looked at when I shopping around, the B2 took the cake in the looks department and it fits me like a glove to boot, not a bad deal ehh. Sorry for the ramble, but you won’t be disappointed if you do go with the B2 or the B2 Pro. Peace Le Fleur.
