2007 Cervelo P3

Need some help from the experts.

I’ve been looking for a frame (for my son) and found an '07 P3. It has the easton 90 fork and is in good (that’s what I was told anyway) condition.

I know that updates have been made on newer frames but from what I can tell the frame seems pretty much the same. Am I correct? Fork OK?

Any reason to look for a newer frame over the 2007?

Thanks,
Tony

Are you talking about the one on ebay with the red easton fork?

Yes, it’s the second time listed and we are looking at it as an option.

If you have any info on the frame it would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I suspect the easton fork is due to the fact the there was a recall on some of the wolf forks
.

Yeah, Im actually the reason its being listed again. The seller originally tried to pass it of as a 51cm when it was actually a 48cm - which uses 650c size wheels. Its a clean frame, just wasnt the right size and uses the less desireable size of wheels. I did eventually get my money back.

Any issues w/ the seller? Just want to know if I should look for another frame.

Thanks for the feedback.

I think english might be his second language so just be very clear with him and verify everything. When he sent me a tracking number for it, fedex said its destination was South San Francisco…I live in Washington. And for some reason, even though the item description says it located in New York, he shipped from Florida. I didn’t get the feeling he was intentionally trying to rip me off though. I ended up buying a different P3 and can say your son will love it for sure. Theyre great bikes.

Thanks for the info, it’s greatly appreciated.

I’m selling my 2007 P3Carbon (black and white) in size 56. PM me if you are interested.

Thanks TriDave0, but I need a 48.
