2005 Litespeed Blade Fork?

I have ordered a 2005 Blade. As part of the bonus - my shop is willing to throw in a Reynolds Aero fork to close the deal. What would be the appropriate rake? My frame size is the stock 57.

I think the standard Litespeed Fork is 45.

What says the group - 43 or 45 for the Reynolds?

As always - the input is appreciated.

litespeed.com says 40 for a 57 blade.

Clarification, it says 4.0 cm for a 57 Blade, not 40 deg of rake.

Just curious, but why not a fork made by RealDesign? I think even Steve Hed was quoted as being envious of Litespeed’s RealDesign manufacturing designs.

The Reynolds fork is made in the US. Is lighter. Is a proven design. And would be free to me as an upgrade.

I think Steve Hed worked/consulted for ABG - what else is he going to say?

Hi there,

The Real Design Aero HP fork is actually less than 400 gr and is always continuously developed like all of our forks. I realized that the website is actually wrong and forwarded a note to engineering and our webmaster to fix it. If my memory serves me right, the Real Design Aero HP is actually closer to 380 grams and would thus be lighter than the Ouzo Aero. But Reynolds does indeed make fine forks.

As for Steve Hed, he consulted on our wheels and not really on our forks, so he really has no reason to say anything he does not believe.

Cheers,

Herbert
