Just getting back from CDA and 3 weeks
on the road and was searching around to see
if any penalties were giving by the new GTG.
Never saw any penalties giving out and no
stand downs.
Anyone hear of any ?
I noticed a couple of guys running by with a red mark across their #. Not sure if it was a stand down, or just the new non-penalized first offences for littering or whatever else.
But I did notice that the draft marshalls were constantly with us and really communicating their thoughts to us on the drafting. A lot of “you’re good” or “another few feet”… I think they did as good a job as possible to keep the race clean
I was spectating in a number of spots and I saw no penalties, i saw no marks on bibs and heard no one speak/complain of a penalties. I did see an official roll up on an athlete and say “i saw you on that wheel but i’m going to let it go this time”. I do not know if there were actually any penalties or not … this is only what i saw. I did see some things that i thought could have been penalities though.
