1up Rack - ratchet not working

Anyone have a 1up hitch rack and the ratchets stop working properly?

On both my racks, the ratchet on one side doesn’t “spring” back properly anymore. I have to lift the arm, and wiggle the red clamp to both loosen and tighten the arm onto the tire

Anyone else have this and have tips to fix? Looks like I can buy a new assembly for ~$110 each, but that’s a lot of $$!

Same issue. Plan to take it all apart soon and look.

They are a good company. I would call them and I bet they hook you up.

Took all apart, was just dirty and grime. Cleaned it all reassembled and works better than new!

(Now I should do the same for the other 5 since I have the 3 bike carrier)
