New Orleans teens solve 2,000-year-old math problem

In my defense, I never actually tried to find a proof for the Pythagorean theorem using trigonometry so I can't say for certain that I couldn't have. 65/35% chance against it if I'm being honest with myself.

What an achievement for a someone who is still at school. I hope that they both have brilliant careers ahead of them.

My original degree was in Mathematics and IT. I wanted to solve Fermat's last theorem when I was at uni.

I guess whats old is new again?

Or when 60 min. brings an old story back its new.

Okay it was Dec 2022, Beginning of 23.

For the Math Nerds anyhow, it was big news than, old news now.
