Glad it worked out!

The vernacular is definitely changing when it comes to describing some of today's shoes compared to 10 yr ago.

I'll accept your suggestion of cushiony!

The Zoom Fly 3 isn’t gone.

Nike.com and StockX have it.

I’m sticking with the ZF3 - I have a couple backup pairs.

Has anyone run in the Nike ZoomX Invincible? On a recent trip to get my son some shoes, I tried them on they really felt good, but $180 was too much to spend for my son's middle school track.

You might try the NB Beacon if you like the 1080 feel. It's a little lighter weight and the heel cup didn't feel as pronounced to me as they do in the 1080s.

I've jogged a bit in them, felt good. Bouncy and cushiony.

Hey Brian, Thanks for the reply.

I actually have found that the Saucony Endorphin Speed and the NB Free Foam Beacon V3 (2E) fit great! I really like the toe off of the Speed, which does improve the speed. The Beacon is just a good tempo shoe. For the long easy runs, I still use the Torin Plush 4.5.

Oh ok. The Zoom Fly 3 has been the best training shoe I've ever worn. I just bid on 4 pairs for $80 on StockX. With tax and shipping it is $107. I think I'll maybe get 1-2 buys at that price, but would be willing to pay much more for limited supply. I have two pairs on backup now, so will just let the bid run a month and see what happens. I'm definitely stockpiling though. If you want to buy it now, it might be $110 - $120 on StockX with tax and shipping extra, depending on size.

The shoes are so great to train in - its hard for me to imagine anything else. I had the Zoom Fly 2 before, which seemed similar to the 4%, but the Zoom Fly 3 has just been such a fun trainer shoe for me with a great fit.
