Zoot shoe to make San Diego debut

I was going to post this on the thread going around about the Zoot shoes last month but figured I would just start a new thread. (Yes, got the go ahead from Dan first…thanks Dan)

Disclaimer: I work for SDRI and have been a long time fan of Zoot apparel. But first and foremost a MOP triathlete that is obsessed with cool new toys.

OK, for those of you that haven’t had a chance to see the Zoot shoes first hand I have to say I am incredibly impressed. If you want to see them, San Diego Running Institute will be having a Tri Expo on Sunday, July 15th and will be featuring the new line of Zoot shoes. Mike Rouse will be on hand to help your questions.

So stop arguing about whether these shoes are going to be worth it or not and come find out.

(No, I haven’t run in them yet but am dying too. If they run as well as they look and are designed, it’s gonna be fun)

Price?

They aren’t going to be for sale unfortunately (trust me…begging for a pair), just for demo and viewing but I believe when they are available they will retail for $130.

a good friend of mine did Coeur d 'Alene in the racing flats made by Zoot and did not have one blister or hot spot the entire run, he also ran in them sockless
just waiting to try them out myself, have heard nothing but great things from those who have tested them
.

I want those…BAAAADDDDD!!!
.

Same here. Have heard nothing but good things and from the visual inspection of them couldn’t be happier with the design decisions. Just wish my feet weren’t so big so I could have tried on a smaple pair.

i have a pair on the way (i think…) will post about them when they show. looked great when i looked at them earlier!

The new Zoot shoes are sick… bottom line. Anyone that wants to see what all the hype is about should definitely take the opportunity to go see Mike at the SDRI tri expo. Zoot has done their homework on this shoe. True to their roots, Zoot has once again solved triathletes’ gear issues. The Zoot shoe solves the four main issues that triathletes face transitioning too and during the run; this product WILL make the athlete faster, more comfortable and of course add a little extra style. Oh yeah, don’t forget to check out their recovery sandles. i can’t wait to mold my feet into those bad devils.

Cheers,

I’m so stoked on the shoes I totally forgot about the sandals. Those things are pretty sweet too.

Pictures?

OMG, you’re so enthusiastic that you got me pretty excited too! I wish I was in San Diego so that I could try those shoes… and the sandals!!!

There doesnt seem to be any pics of the cushion and support trainers or the sandals posted anywhere and I didn’t take any pics when they were in the store.

those are so sweet, I still want to know what paulo plans on doing with them.

No, I jog. Not a lot of people here actually run.

…That’s why we are so excited about the Zoot shoes, and not the PI shoes !!
