Curious if anyone has tried the P1X Aero Calf Sleeves from Zoot? I’ve seen a bunch of good reviews about the Elite Aero Calf Sleeves (FastOrFiction) but not much on the P1X, Im guessing they are newer. They look like the cover more of the leg.
Guessing they’d perform similarily?
I had the same question too. Ultimately, I bought the Wyn Republic CDA sleeves as they seemed to be a little less high where ZOOT is up to or over part of the knee joint. Of course, after owning them for 2 weeks & using them at IM TX, I lost one somewhere in the VRBO. Only have 1 of the WYNN sleeves now. Figures. I also had a mechanical for a set up I had only 2 weeks as well & lost that ($400 of gear). I seem to be good at losing stuff on trips. I will say, the entire 2x I tried the calf sleeves, from Wynn, they were barely noticeable…very thin & light. Would be interested in the ZOOT as well, but just seemed too tall. Suppose I’ll need a new pair of calf sleeves now!
I just ordered the P1X version, I had the previous and always liked them.
I used them at Peru 70.3 and they seemed to be the same was the P1 ones or whatever I had before. Im hoping the fabric doesn’t get stretched out so quickly. Getting them off was some bullshit.
also, UV index was super high and the fabric did a good job. I also have the suit with the same fabric on the top. I just had a first minimally invasive melanoma cut off my hand, so the UV protection was nice.
