BREAKING NEWS: Zoot Sports Acquired by K2

Zoot Sports has recently been purchased by outdoor snow sports and cycling company K2, based in Seattle, WA. Zoot’s management team and staff will remain in place and the brand will continue to produce cutting edge multisport apparel and footwear.

It’ll be interesting to see if K2 decides to capitalize on the brand’s success, and start marketing Zoot Tri bikes (and bike shoes), much in the way QR offers a complete line of products. A Zoot athlete could theoretically only need 2 or 3 sponsorships to get all the gear they needed.
Well, K2 had a tribike that Heather Fuhr was on for many years. It was Aluminum, so if they want to get into the hardgoods end of the trimarket, they need to revise the bike line…
