Wheels: Zipp 404 front/Zipp 900 Disc Rear
Tires: Vittoria Evo CX Tubulars
My weight: 165 pounds
What is the optimal PSI for this tire, given my weight? I understand that it may vary given road conditions as well. I tried out 115 psi front/120 psi rear today and I felt that the rear could definitely be increased, not sure how much.
given the ST trend of “lower is better”, optimum PSI has to be around 34 by now…

Yeah, I hear you, I did a search before I posted. My thoughts are to increase it all around by another 5 psi.

On my Zipp 808 tubular wheels I use 120 front and back. I think zipp recommends 110 but I feel safer at 120. Oh yeah I’m 165lbs also.

Aren’t the valve stems too long on the Vittoria tubies for the Zipp disc?

CX: 115 psi
If they were Tangentes, then it would be:
121 front
126 rear
.

No, they fit fine. Just used the crack pipe to get in there.

115/120 @165 lbs? Sounds about right to me.
