I was looking at the Zedtech product and was curious of what was different if you do not go with upgrades like ceramic bearings, extra stiff or superlight. Do the new original wheels have dimpled hubs? Outside of the upgrades and color choice I do not see a difference.
You get super spec bearings, super spec rims, dimples on your hubs, and pretty spoke nipples. If you make your living riding a bike, I’d say that they are a must have. If you have so much money that you don’t have to ask about the upcharge, I’d say they are a must have. If you race for fun and know what the word ‘budget’ means, I woudl say that the standard Zipp wheels are nicer than any of us really need.
