Zipp Super9 Track Conversion - How Easy Is It?

Is the track conversion kit considered a one-time kind of thing, or is it feasible to switch back and forth regularly? Basically I need to decide whether to get one disc wheel for both road and track or two cheaper discs.

Do it…Piece of cake.

What he said.
Really not complicated or irreversible.

The hub conversion is a couple of minutes so the only real question is if you want to use the same tires on road and track which is more of an issue with tubulars.

The other real question to have in mind is: does ZIPP/SRAM honor their warranty? Do they have good customer service policy?
The short answer is an absolute NO.
They have great engineering and great products but whenever their is trouble, they don’t stand behind their product and expect to get you tired. It happened to me with the RED front derailleur which broke down 5 times and a ZIPP crankset which caused a problem on every single outing, training or racing…… Until Cervelo, told me that I could solve the problem by taking out the ZIPP crankset and replacing it by a Shimano.
I followed their advice, and never had a problem again.
Unfortunately ZIPP/SRAM does not stand by their products and initially (after months of arguing) reimbursed only a $350 SRAM crankset then after more arguing accepted to credit an additional $500, out of a total of $1,250, plus mechanics, freight, etc., etc.

Very lousy customer service
If you want to hear more about their service get into another entry here at slow twitch at the following site: Zipp/SRAM warranty failed me? Or am I expecting too much?
You will be amazed by what a testy attitude ZIPP/SRAM has in terms of customer service policy.
So, if you are going to get one of their wheels, you better pray its quality is without defects….

And you should ask yourself this question: what do I prefer: brand #1 that randomly honors its warranty, or brand #2 or #3, that stand behind their product on every occasion?
