Anyone get their disc repaired by Zipp? Sent mine back & what a crappy job ZIPP did. Looks like they took a blob of black goo with a popsicle stick, spread it on & let it dry. Then lightly sanded it was 150 grit. What was left on the flat disc was a 1 inch by 3 inch long (about 1/8th of an inch thick) convex shaped patch that looks like crud. Sheeesh–likely totally jacked with the aerodynamics. So much for attention to detail by ZIPP’s repair shop.
I got a gash repaired on a sub9. Let me rephrase that. I bought one that was repaired. About the same job looks like a strip of carbon with epoxy on it. You would thing they would have a way to press dimples back into it to sort of match. I was thinking of painting some faux dimples to make less noticable.
