I recently bought a bike from another slowtwitcher and it came with these wheels. I rode them once for a 75 mile ride. Yes, they are fast!!

I have no need for two sets of race wheels, so I am going to let these go. I am including padded wheel bags and the Powertap LYC computer.

The wheels are tubulars and there are Zipp Tangante tires on them about 60% worn. The stickers have some marks on them, but nothing really bad. If you put on new tires and new stickers, this would be a MINT set of wheels.

I am also including the original Zipp rear hub before the Powertap was installed. However, I do not have the original spokes… my assumption is that the rear wheel would use different length spokes if you would want to relace the Zipp hub into the wheels instead of the Powertap. Currently, the Powertap is NOT ANT+, but in can be upgraded. Maybe a nice slowtwitcher has an update kit they will pass your way… (from the thread I read, the upgrade kits can actually upgrade more than one hub).

I will split the wheels if I have two willing buyers for the front and rear. I will also split the powertap and rebuild the rear wheel with new spokes if I have a buyer for the wheel and a buyer for the hub.

Shipping is $25 per wheel if the wheels get split, or $35 if I have them in one box.

I’ll start the price at $1500 for everything… since that is what I paid for them as part of the bike deal.

I have had a handful of transactions on slowtwitch. I can pass you the members names if you need some transaction history.

Sorry…

First time posting pics. I think I should have clicked between each pic as I added them.

Scroll left and right to read the ad. If it is an issue, I’ll fix the ad later.

There you go boys and girls…

I fixed the ad!

Now it is easily readable!

Bring in the offers! I need to clear out my basement. When the wife gets hit in the head from hanging bikes and has to make a jog left and right to get around bike parts laying on the floor when trying to do laundry… it’s time to sell some gear.

Or, it’s the life she knows she married. One of the two.

Let’s get some split up offers!

I want these gone.

Who wants the 24 hole power tap?

Who wants the front?

Who wants the rear?

Bump!

Bump.

I’m updating this hub to ANT+ as a bonus for the new owner.

Offers? Splits?

What year are the wheels?

How much for the pt hub?

Mine still stands
.

A few more details. The wheels are 2008, which apparently zipp updated this rim. Lee Majors style, faster and stronger:)

I am updating the hub to do ANT+

Are you going to make me sell the wheels with a Garmin 310xt?

Fine, make me offers people. Splits, whatever.

Make offer for front wheel, rear wheel with power tap, rear without power tap and zipp hub, power tap hub only…

These will either be on my bike as everyday wheels, or someone’s gonna take these in the next week.

Bump for Price drop.

$1400 plus shipping for everything you see in the pics.

I can’t send PM’s, is there an email address I can contact you at?

Evan:
Are these Zipp 303 wheelset available?
Clincher or Tubular?
How many km/mileage?
Is it dimpled?
Are they straight and true with no dings or dents?
Do they come with any thing (comp, tires, brake pads, etc)

Will you ship to Michigan if I live in Toronto?

Thanks,
Rich

Hey Rich,

It’s just the rear wheel, but it’s straight and true, mint condition. ~500 miles on it. I’ll include the tire that’s on it and the cassette (I’m not near it at the moment, or I’d tell you what it is). No comp. No break pads.
