why is this theory perpetuated?
if it is ridiculously windy the disc will HELP your bike handling by shifting the center of side force rearward (due to the increased surface area of the disc) and away from the steering axis making it lighter and easier to control…
the only question really should be 909 or 999… and that is a personal choice.

What about the Planet X’s? I’ve seen a pair for only around $800. I might as well go with Flashpoints or Williams or Neuvations, as opposed to the 404s if they’re close, - those others are cheaper. (I know that Flashpoints are made by Zipp).
IMHO- Zipp and then Hed. Or maybe better put Zipp and Hed. I am sure all the others are good, but Zipp and Hed are the best and have been for a long, long time. My opinion of course so everyone please don’t flame me :). I really like the Flashpoint wheels for your case though. I think they are great clinchers and better than anything short of regular Zipp clinchers.
