Help.
I have about a 1000 miles on a new P3, DURA ACE 10, Carbon X with Zipp 404’s. I have my issues with the bike but overall I am pleased.
Lately I have been noticing that I have corrosion on the 404 hubs. I clean the bike after every use. It seems a bit early after only 1000 miles. Considering I own another pair with 10,000 miles and no corrosion - it seems odd. Same rider, same sweat, same climate.
When I called Zipp - the guy told me that I should use some sort of polisher and it may make my hubs all shiney. He stated that this is not a warranty item.
Has anyone had this same problem and what did you do to fix it?
