Egad…by these standards I’m 1/2 yuppie! Oh the horror…Tibbs…can ya help a brutha out?

i guess us blue collar types are just bad people! You grow up in the south and get labled Redneck, nothing you can do about that.

Heh Heh, I’m a “light blue” collar runner.

Nothing like coming home from a long winter run and trying to peel off wet long underwear.

What’s happening Alicia? I guess I’m half BC half Y…I like the massage thing though.

Let’s see now

Training - Cerrutty

Shoes- Dunlop volleys

Gloves- take of my socks and use them if it’s cold

Pants- Yakka overalls

HRM - N/A - I’m a heartless bastard.

Massage- $15 at the brothel near the station

Sports drink- 5 Cougars

Sports bar- The footballs on the TV at the pub so I guess that’s a sports bar.

Sports gel-Yeah I’ll go with snot

Beach Vacation - Werribee, just past the sewage farm- no crowds

Caught out- Why bother wiping

Clothing source- St. Vinnies

Stretching- I’ve stretched a few friendships

Favourite season - Toss up b/w football and cricket seasons

Spandex- As for GPS

Extra attire- Hawthorn footy club beanie

Favourite sport - Tossing cans at pommy cricketers

Guess I’m more yup than BC, which is kind of unusual when you live in a rural area.

Do you really *need *500$ a month coaching? And I thought Gordo was all HRm?

The contentious debate between adherents of the Lydiard school versus those of Professor Daniels can only yield to one conclusion, that being, that the neutronic capillaries in the vV02 levels must be re-evaluated and tested, in some of our more recent scientific protocols, measuring lactate levels in terms of astronomical gasses.

The fans of Lydiard or Daniels on the Letsrun website, and their preoccupation with further questions about clothing and shoes, ignores the substantial debate going on between both sides.

Had Lydiard’s premise concerning the glycogenic, oxidative glucose chains, not been debunked, or rather, less kindly said, been ripped to shreds, in the latest white paper on that, from the University of Colorado, his thesis would still hold true today; however, only marginally.

We know from recent studies on Sun-heat theory, and magnetic theory, that the electromagnetic affect on lactate threshold levels far surpasses what we previously new in scientific labs. Some athletes have adopted these theories: Mark Allen from the Shamanisti Institute, Terry Laughlin from the Dharma Labs, Danny Dreyer from the Wei Chi Testing Center, and many others are begining, to re-evaluate lactate threshhold levels in terms of their relationships with astronomical, star gasses, and cosmic energy fields.

And, what has come down as quite a shock to both Lydiard AND Daniels is that these, apparently, were all facts that even vikings or Norsemen in fact realized and wrote about in annals many years ago, during their own, rather, surreptitious, and primitive, blood work analysis with sharp sticks, on amino acid chains. Indeed, Lactate Threshold max IS A FUNCTION OF cosmic undercurrent, relativitic, energy theory, as postulated by Rutherford and others in their Danish studies.

Ergo, Vikings ran and raided villages faster after getting “in sync” with their Norse Gods and Sun Gods!

Secondly, who can dispute the data proving vVO2 levels with the KMX study done recently on Brazilian mice? Could these all be tied in together?

Of course they could.

It is no coincidence that the Glouchester recipe for improving anaerobic b78Fd65 VO2 threshold lactate salts DO buttress and individual’s anaerobic benefits, assuming that athletes performance is linked up to his or her right relationship to the moon or stars.

These are my thoughts on the debate between Daniel’s and Lydiard and what runners should look at in their run training.

a former blue collar runner, from a blue collar town. I used to run in my regular bra and wondered why my chest hurt. hahahahaha! how stupid! everyone thought I was crazy, “You mean, you RAN 2 miles?!? Are you nuts?”

Also, didn’t even know to take water, or stop and get water. In the winter I would run around the grocery store parking lot before school, and wear a plastic bag if it was really cold.

Now that’s blue collar!

(since reformed though, which my chest thanks me for).

You forgot one thing:

MARATHON TIME
YR- 4-50
BCR- 2-50
.

My, your comma count is phenomenal. I count up to 9 in one sentence! Thanks for sharing your knowledge, or should I say "nah"ledge. Since my oblique’s still hurt everytime I laugh, your post was a bit painful for me to read. But worth it!

What my husband said, “Yeah, he had me going until he started talking about vikings.” ha ha ha ha!
