I love rye. Especially with pastrami, or sometimes with a couple of sunny side up eggs in the morning. The best kind of toast!

Not a huge whiskey drinker but I did pick up a bottle of Basil Haydens dark rye yesterday. Really good in my opinion. Plus it was around $40 at Costco. Not bad.
One of my favorite Bourbons is the McKenna 10 yr bottled in bond. Saw a 1.75 of regular McKenna for $21. Thought how bad could it be. It is currently gracing my Yeti full of diet Coke. Maybe I was too drunk last night to give it a shot. We r at beach and it was late and I was drunk and horny.
How does it compare to my two favorites, Sazarac (low price but impossible to find) and Masterson’s ($80 retail but occasionally can be found)?
