If you knew where the rumor of motorized road bikes started, you’d laugh your @ss off.
Conspiracy theorist absurdity. Unless they bust someone in a pro peleton with one of these I am never believing this.
What Cancellera did wasn’t insane. He attacked, got solo and used his PROVEN TT skills to snatch a win from a chase pack who didn’t have the guts or balls to actually chase.
with floyd 4 years ago? haha
Wow. The desire to win at any cost makes people do some amazing things.

Like Armstrong said, “it’s not about the bike”… but it may be about the LiON battery pack.
That video is ridiculous in “evaluating” Cancellara…the P-R clip looks like he’s just shifting, and in the Flanders one you can’t even see anything…
No it was insane to accelerate effortless in an 20% grade climb.
The UCI is aware about that, but I don’t think Cancellera could do it.
No it was insane to accelerate effortless in an 20% grade climb.
It would only be insane if you or I did it. This is the world TT champion, olympic TT champion, P-R champion, M-s-R champion… Fabian simply went full on gas and everyone else was found lacking. You can hang on tom boonens balls all you want but he has not shown a high degree of form in 2010 as he has in the past. People get caught napping or in bad moments and they lose races.
I doubt his acceleration was “effortless”, it looked to me that he was spinning those pedals hard and fast. Also another point to his acceleration, I believe you see the difference in speed between tom B and Fabian and assuming that it is from Fabian speeding up only. I think the real explanation is that Tom B slowed at the same time Fabian accelerated and thus you get a fast gap. Elementary. The other fact is that you don’t know what his acceleration rate is on that climb, you don’t know Tom’s acceleration rate and you don’t know either of their velocities… all while trying to judge this stuff from a camera on a bike. Please.
Post Flanders Interview:
Fabian said he didn’t stand up cause he was getting cramps or feeling wierd (at the Murr wall, Flanders).
I shall finish by: Occums Razor
***No it was insane to accelerate effortless in an 20% grade climb. ***

Yes it was and if you watch all of his body and I mean ALL of it you’d find that no one on this earth accelerates like that, without any upper body into it but the funniest part of the entire vid, I find, is the first acceleration at 3:36 in the vid. Cinderella stands up for a second to accelerate, sites back down and then after a second or two of hardly gaining speed from his attempted attack with what it looks as if he’s struggling mightily with I might add, shoots off the front and in a very unnatural manner. and look closely at his legs through this time, it certainly looks by all accounts that the pedals are driving his legs, not the other way around.
and on the last bit of the vid with him on the climb which it appears he’s on a magic carpet of some sort or rather just after it as he’s coming out of it at 6:08 in the vid you can clearly see him look down at HIS BIKE, where the seat tube and down tube meet.
I hope that he gets busted with this IF he used it which to myself it sure seems as if he did.

I’m thinking that tells us more about you than about FC…

Why would Fabian look down at a motor which you claim is hidden inside his frame tubes? Maybe the motor was tired and needed some encouragement from big Sparticus? Secret internal seat tube 700w motor don’t let me down now, only 15k more to go and we can win FLANDERS!
You think lance is a clean athlete but Fabian has a motor inside his tubes???
This all should be fairly easy to detect with a bit of IR imaging. Someone get out their with an infrared camera next time Spartacus goes by. IF the seat tube is hot, then we know he’s guilty. It won’t be though. Nevermind the technical aspects (almost all 90 degree gears whine to some degree–this thing would be audible), from a mental perspective there’s a pretty huge gulf between blood doping and using a motor. Even if you’ve blood doped it’s still you doing the work. I suspect it takes another level of depravity to be willing to use a motor-scooter to win Paris Roubaix than to simply be a drug cheat.
Step 1: go check youtube.com and type grubber assist (the engine shown by the 2 italian guys)
Step 2: watch one of the videos
Step 3: ask yourself whether Tom Boonen would have heard the noise ![]()
Oh and by the way, when checking the ‘weird hand moves’ made by Cancellara, check the same moves made by Tom Boonen. I guess Boonen had the regular grubber while Cancellara had the turbo boosted version ![]()
i am really looking forward to the Federal Investigation and until then I’ll be the one to say that all evidence looks as if he just might have been doping but until he is undoubtedly proven guilty of any wrong doing, I’m still gonna believe in him as you are now doing with Cinderella but looking at the mechanics of how is body relates to his "motorized’ accelerations and his bike, it’s comical to say the least.
anyone have videos of his accelerations/races outside of the two in question, flanders and paris roubaix? i’d like a side by side comparison.
the noise is the only thing I’m wondering about but there is such a thing as expanding liquid foam/sealant and the likes to hush that up or any other millions of ways any one with a brain could drown out that noise ( so maybe not you
), especially from being in a tube and not to mention tubes that are closed off on the end in one way or the other.
Or maybe he is from another planet. Say hello to agent Mulder when you see him, okay?

i think he’s a dumbass who clicked the button “go” a few too many times and accelerated too fast as well a few too many times which brings me back to saying how comical it looks and it’s human nature to glance, it fits to look down at the motor even if he can’t do anything about it.
ever look at your speedometer right after your car just ran out of gas as you’re hoping it will speed up, stomping on the accelerator pedal? don’t say you haven’t, you’d be lying.

I once had a dog named Scully, one of those Alaskan Malamute/Husky dogs, she was brighter than you as well.
I don’t doubt that in your eyes, she was brighter than me. After all, all you have to evaluate that is your own brain.

I believe I recall him dropping the whole peloton at TdF near end of stage and holding them off, but can’t remember year or stage.
I don’t know what to make of this video. Has anyone heard anything about it being doctored in any way? The second clip seems like it could be sped up. The first acceleration (referenced by aka roadhouse) is absurd. It sure seems like he is matching attack, pedaling hard, settles into steady cadence, and destroys everyone with the most impressive acceleration I have ever seen. It really doesn’t look like he is working that hard.
From the video the motor sounds loud - how could other cyclists not hear it?

and unless everyone is blind you will notice that the '07 vid proves he didn’t have a bicycle engine, all of it looks natural, the out of the saddle, the sway of the bike left and right, right down to the steering, the hip movement, his back swaying even when seated, the bike moving in due accordance with HIS effort and none of him sitting down and magically taking off. none of that naturalism occurs in the gruber assist vids of him at flanders or p-r so thanks, you proved my point.
No it was insane to accelerate effortless in an 20% grade climb. The 1000W peak he registered is insane, whereas 900W + a 100GruberW boost would be nothing? ![]()
