Love the dude with the white long-sleeve sweater… that’s some serious move there… groovy!
Oh man, I never even saw the guy. This must be his friend…

Was the guy going for the two-arm victory alute (can be a DQ in USCF races) and slipped off the saddle? Or did his hands just slip off the bars? Neither tire is flat…
And triathlons are silly?
Hmmmm… what do you call a roadie that races without gloves?
Looks like he unclipped while sprinting
.
“Hmmmm… what do you call a roadie that races without gloves?”
brider. I used to race gloveless all the time. Never a problem.
The sad part of this photo is all the lame-ass fans running away from the guy in the last picture. Why aren’t they moving in to help?
I’ve never worn gloves in 20+ yrs
.
Is that Hung from “Top Chef” on the left!?!?! I love that guy!
And my junk hurts because I have a saddle sore the size of Serena Williams’ adams apple, not because i’m a poor bike handler. That’s a pretty cool pic though.
Agreed, only when I had to for temperature reasons. So from about May-September, no gloves.
LOL now that just made my afternoon!! you see her press conference last night?
I thought the best part was how his bike ends up leaning against the lamp post…
Funny - I know those guys.
The pic in the middle frame is classic. That guy is sheltering his kids. Hillarious. Don’t look kids, the horror.

You’re right, I take that back. Here’s more evidence.

(Hopefully Herbert won’t see this…)
you’re lucky I don’t know how to post pics here ![]()

I would imagine he hadn’t stopped moving yet, so they’re just trying to protect from being rolled into…
Yeah, I’m pretty sure the bike is still in the air in that last pic.
