You have your last master’s swim session and feel great in the pool (even tho the coach has given you IM sets to do) and kind of sad afterwards that it’s over…
You lose one wetsuit 10 days out from race day only to find another the very next day… (the gods are watching out for me, I can feel it!)
You have come to terms with the reduced training workload of your taper, no more squirrely-ness.
You have begun packing and are not stressed about it in the least.
Your body operates almost on its own in your last few rides and runs, total autopilot, at your target pace - no more, no less.
You are consuming about half of the daily calories you were a week ago.
You feel very calm, zen, almost grasshopper-like, as if this time you know you can snatch the pebble from your master’s hand
We ship out on Sunday, the race is 1 week later, race report & pics will follow. Thanks to everyone on ST for being so supportive and encouraging. And so damn funny.
See you all on the other side of the finish line.

According to you post I’ve NEVER been ready for an IM. Oh well, perhaps if I try to qualify for IMH, maybe my body will be teed up and ready like that.
