Does anyone work out/swim at the YMCA in Montclair, NJ?
I just started a new job in the Clifton/Passaic NJ area and will be commuting from NY and trying to find a pool and/or gym in the area.
Will do most of my NJ training in the early morning before work. Wonder how the YMCA pool is around 6am to 730am?

You can try the Garfield Boys and Girls club on Midland Ave. They recently merged with the Garfield Y so you have to register there. Not too crowded in the a.m. I think the hours are 5:30am-1:00pm for adult lap. There are other hours throughout the day. Also Stevens Tech in Hoboken has a good masters program (www.stevensaquatics.com) … morning hours are MWF 6-7:30am.

Thanks. I will look into the Garfield B & G, in addition to the Montclair Y. Hoboken is a little out of my commuting path, but thanks for the tip.
