Has anybody seen/used the new wide U shape rims Yishun has on their website? Thinking of getting a pair of clinchers.
I corresponded with them in May, via email, about their WU6C rim.
The U shaped rims are not their high temp resin rims (the High TG Series). The U rims were rated to 180F and the other is rated to 240F. It would be nice if the U shaped rims were rated to 240F.
In the end, I got a set of Mavic CXR 60 wheels. I really like the Exalith II braking surface, which is a milled aluminum surface.
Good for disc brake bikes … No melting rim concerns
