Yet another shoes question, need help!

switched to saucony kinvara from newtons. I like them overall, feel fast. no problems on short runs, anything over 10miles, my knees start to hurt and very sore knee ligaments. never had this problem in the past. what shoes should I try next??? im 140 lbs. thanks.

I did the exact same thing, the Kinvara’s were just not for me…I now switch between Newtons and KSwiss Kwicky Blade Lights. I really like the KSwiss

Go back to Newtons? Assuming they were not hurting you.

should’ve mentioned switched from newtons because of a number of reasons… pain wasnt one of them.
the redesigned model was flimsily constructed and cost me half an hour on the run in LP.

thanks, all I needed. was thinking about kswiss!

If you require a bit of support absent from the Kinvara, give the Fastwitch 5 a look - it’s now my go-to shoe.

I’m gonna go ahead and give on running shoes a try.
Hopefully will like them

I actually just switched FROM the Kinvara TO the Newtons. Why did you give Newtons up?

multiple issues with newtons. I believe it was isolated to me personally, and overall they are great shoes.
I liked the original model, then it was redesigned with a very soft sole which wore down to nothing in a matter of days (which i believe is a defect). the new shoe was different and felt much larger than the original.
