I’m weird, I go between very good beers (micro-brews and good stuff) and cheapest for amount of alcohol.
I’d be drinking Miller Lite if a case of Natty Ice weren’t cheaper, and stronger. I’ve also had several hours to just sit and do nothing, which is a first for maybe 18+ months. So I’m totally wasting the time in the most enjoyable way I can imagine.
If it helps, I’m using a Newcastle glass, which I may or may not have borrowed from a pub. Can’t really tell.
That’s ok- right now I am jealous of your several hours of downtime. I am pulling an all nighter at work (except I am leaving in about 30 mins to see a late night showing of Rocky).
After reading your post I checked my mini fridge here at work - it is full of Guinness and Negra Modelo’s. I am going to wait to open one until I get back from the movie…working late is getting a lot better!
My non-work and non-school life has sucked for so long I can totally make the most of even an hour of no work. Tonight, having several hours? I don’t even know what to do with myself.
I do think at least one beer will help the movie experience. Remember, suspend disbelief and you’ll enjoy it more.
