Need some feedback and shipping experiences with Xterra Wetsuits. I am on the road and away from home, also too late to call as they are closed now.
On Monday, I ordered Velocity++, got confirmation email…No shipping email all week. I checked with my wife, no suit has been delivered.
Is this normal for them. No one called to say anything about any delays. Just curious as I will have to wait until Monday to call. Thanks.
I’ve had fantastic service from them this year, their Customer Service is fantastic. Shipping for everything I’ve ordered usually is 7 days from order to door, but I’m in Indiana.
We’ve ordered a couple things from them before with no problems. I don’t remember if we got shipping e-mails/tracking numbers or not though…

Total of three recent orders (don’t ask), each with confirmation email and prompt shipping along with a ship notification.
They are first rate. I’m very surprised you are having troubles. Every computer system has bugs, so it’s possible there was a problem with your order. I’d certainly give these guys the benefit of the doubt.
Thanks a lot. I had a great experience talking to them about their suit and due to that, price and durability claim, I decided to try that over B70 and TYR Sayonara.
I am sure it is on the way. I suspect someone would have calledif there is an issue. I live in Kansas City, so maybe 5 business days for processing and shipping.
I am sure they are first rate. It was just strange not getting shipping notification, but I thought, maybe the don’t send one. Some do, some don’t. I will call them on Monday.
We don’t send shipping confirms. Also I know Glynn (one of the three main dudes) has been out of the office traveling.

We have a pretty darn TIGHT relationship with UPS.

Just ordered my Vector Pro X2 suit and it shipped the same day. I got an automated e-mail with the tracking number when it went out.
I was emailed today and given info. What a great customer service. They do read the forum for sure. Suit is coming Monday. Tuesday, I will be testing it OWS.
Anyone any good tips on putting it on. Does it need body glide type lube to put on…Thanks everybody for responding.
Hike up the crotch and hike up the shoulders… all for allowing maximal flexibility and unencumbered freedom of movement. If this means the suit “cuffs” are part way up your forearms (mine sit about there) that’s fine.

I had my Xterra Velocity 0.02 speedsuit zipper break after my race this past weekend. Contacted customer service last night and told me to send an email with a picture and description on how it happened. Got a reply today and a new speedsuit was shipped this afternoon. Talk about amazing customer service. I would recommend Xterra to anyone and they will def have my business in the future.
I had s small hiccup when I ordered a wetsuit last year. They called me a bunch of times, fixed it and even gave me a free shirt! I live only about an hour away so when I order from them, it arrives at my door the very next day. Sounds like they just goofed on your order. I have no doubt they’ll make up for it in some way.
They are awesome. This post is a year old. In the mean time I got VPX2 from them as well.

i just got a suit from them. confirmation email came but never did get any shipping emails from them. think it took 5 shipping days and i am in ky.
I bought a wetsuit from them…returned it and exchanged it for another one with no problems what so ever.
Very easy transaction.
I have purchased two speed suits and two wet suits from Xterra and customer service has been A+.
Plus I am really lucky that how they make their suits fits my build extremely well. I am a perfect MLO.
I ordered on about two weeks ago. Got a confirmation e-mail and a UPS tracking number. Said it would arrive Thursday and it did. First swim this weekend. Can’t say enough good things about them.
