Xterra wetsuits? (2)

Does any one have one of these, and what do you think?

We sell Xterra and I personally wear one as well - they are great suits. Keith Simmons is a guy that helped Ironman Wetsuits become what they are now. The cuts fit a more traditional triathlete body.

We rent a couple of brands of wetsuits (entry level models) and the Xterra were the most popular and durable.

My biased $0.02

my wife has their top of the line suit (vector pro 2) and loves it. in the past she’s owned an orca speedsuit and an aquaman bionik, but likes the xterra better than the others.

like anything else, i’m sure fit/ body type/ etc. factor into the equation, but it really is a very nice suit. i have an ironman stealth and the xterra is at least as nice as that.

I guess it all boils down to fit and personal preference. I have owned Orca, Ironman, Xterra (Vector Pro) and Aquaman Bionik. I would recommend the Aquaman. The prior poster was the opposite – they liked the Xterra over the Aquaman.

In my opinion, with the Xterra, the neck is way too tight and the buoyancy is not as good as the Aquaman. The neoprene just does not seem as nice as the Aquaman. If you check out the Aquaman you will notice a lot of nice features (Zipper goes down, extra velco for the strap, legs are cut for easy exit, higher neck, etc…) and the neoprene is excellent (the best in terms of buoyancy).

Great suit!

I love my Vector. Very flexible which is important b/c I am very tall. The only one that fit nearly as well and was almost as comfy was the QR Super.
