Anyone racing in Brighton this weekend?
Any word on water temp and wetsuits? (could be another warm water - Ann Arbor repeat)

I aksed this yesterday, but no response on water temp. Have you done this course before? I just talked with my girlfriend and this is the course where she broke her collarbone on the bike a couple of years ago. I knew the name sounded familiar. Now I am more concerned about the biking than the water temp, as my mountain biking skills probably aren’t where they should be.
I’ll be there as your announcer.
I have done it in the past. If the course has not changed, there is some nice, tight single track out on the bike course. A good portion of the run was trial running too. Super cool event, and a helleva workout.
I did this race last year as my first tri. It was a blast and the reason I find myself checking out slowtwitch XX times a day. (totally hooked on everything tri)
I’ve been mt biking much longer than riding on the road (shhhh…) so the difficulty of the bike portion is relative. There are a couple tricky downhills and climbs but IMHO nothing so tricky that you’ll have to walk it. If you have chance to pre-ride the course I highly recommend it. It’s always nice knowing whats coming around that next corner.
I personally find the run the real challenge. A true 6 mile trail run after a 1+hr mtb is pretty much all pain…but makes it that much more fun (if that makes sense.)
1+ hrs of mtn biking? GEESH! I am hoping for not too much over 2+ hours. Sounds like fun. I am excited, I just need to be careful on the hills- going up is fine, but going down scares the SH*% out of me and I make sudden, not-very-smart moves. See you there!

You should totally pull a Fred Willard like in “Best in Show”.
