Some interseting names on the start list for the XTERRA World Champs in Maui next weekend:
Jan Frodeno
Ivan Rana
Raynard Tissink
Tim Deboom
Erin Densham

Reportedly, Shonny V and Dibens are out.

XTERRA just told me that a L. Armstrong is on the start list too.

I wonder if Eneko is racing this year, after a Kona DNF?

Eneko is already in Maui and is racing.

Thank you. Yep, back for 6th and FINAL “double” - will continue to race XTERRA into 2012 and beyond, but IM WA in Dec is my last (and 10th) IM.

I heard on the local Mix radio station…one of the DJs rides with Lance at times…that he was headed to Maui to race.

I can’t remember if they offer live video. I think they’ve had limited video coverage in the past…maybe a couple of fixed position cameras and a finish line camera.

I’ve also heard Lance will be racing in Maui. Supposedly, he flew there to check out the course the day after checking out the Ogden course.

In fact, I heard a lot of interesting ‘gossip’ about Lance and XTERRA when I was in Kona.

Those presences give credit to the Xterra event, so it’s cool to watch.

I’m surprised Dibens is still on that list after admited the injury. Will she show up (and kill it on the bike) ?

Lance just tweeted he is headed to Hawaii and the XTERRA World Champs. Not a surprise to anyone.
