XLAB Saddlewing - how to?

I just bought the XLAB Saddlewing today. Can anyone tell me how the straps are supposed to hold the tubes??

Thanks.

First, I attach the strap between the Saddlewing and the water bottle cage, using the bottom screw, with the strap part hanging out away from the seat. Then remove the tube from the box unroll it, and re-roll it so it’s rolled more snugly. Then wrap the strap around the tube, and sinch it tight enough that the tube won’t slip out. Does that make sense?

Let me know how you like it. I am planning to get one. The summers in Vegas are, well… let’s just say…warm. I need the extra liquids. How much was it, and where did you get it?

I have that thing…those straps blow and don’t hold tubes well at all. I put my flat kit in a water bottle and seal it up and keep it in the water bottle holder instead. Works well though to hold your air chuck and CO2 – looks cool. When I race I duct tape a tubular to my seatpost.

I use the straps and a bit of electrical tape to secure my tubes. They don’t bounce and I have never had a problem with them falling off.
