WTF My work blocked access to outside email sites

This sucks. Sports are OK. This site is OK. But no hotmail, yahoo, etc. At least I still have Gmail. For now.

A few months back we lost access to ALL, including Gmail and even an obscure University Graduate email address I was using.

A few employers probably would probably be better served by blocking access to Slowtwitch :wink:

Try accessing through www.msn.co.za, www.msn.nl, www.msn.be, msn.ca, msn.co.uk

This will tell if your network guys are lazy. +h3r3 |5 a|//ay5 a //ay!

If you have a browser on your cell phone, you can still view and send short messages on it (at least with Hotmail and Yahoo).

Yeah, it’s only a matter of time before you lose G-Mail as well. It’s because users, in general, are clueless. I run an IT department, and all of our virus outbreaks since 2001 have been caused by users accessing Hotmail or equiv. from the office.

You still have IM? We actually use it for business, so we have not killed it yet.

Somewhat related topic. This post actually goes out to slowman… again.

for those of us in the cubicle forest (where prying eyes lurk everywhere), can we please have an alternate view of the forum. I’d like to set my preferences for no color so it at least looks more like a word document of some sort.
