I was out doing a run and came up on a guy who was jogging but seemed a little unsure of which way to go and after a brief conversation on best routes in the area introduced himself as Kwame. I am sure I looked a little shocked and he confirmed he was the one and only and that he and his wife and kids had moved into the area recently. I asked him how he picked Southlake, TX and he said it was his wife’s decision and she had visited the area during a conference in Dallas and fell in love with the community and noted how different it was from Detroit…No sh*t it was recently declared by Forbes to be the wealthiest community (more than 20,000 pop) in the States with avg income of $173K/yr and avg home in the $500K range. It was brief but seemed like a regular Joe out slogging in the drizzle. I got home and couldn’t wait to tell my wife and she is like yea his wife is really nice and drops the kids off at school each day…uh…ok honey…are there any other convicts living nearby you would like to tell me about?

I’d keep a close eye on your wife. Based on Kwame’s history here in Detroit and the revelations of the text messages he has tried to nail every woman he comes in contact with. His last GF has been trying to get out of jail all day to today.

Funny that he picked one of the whitest areas in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area to settle.
I tell you honestly, I fell for his schmooze when he was running for his second term. I thought that made he had grown up and was concerned about actually making Detroit and the region better. He certainly said all of the right things.
Then the trial, the scandal, the fall from grace. Even then I thought he was just corrupt.
Then I read the recently released text messages. WHOA! He is a fucking ass, pompous prick. He has a major chip on his shoulder and he hates white people.
And those are the nice things I can think of.
