I am wanting to buy Tubular tires. What you got
UPDATED: I’ve (no longer) got two sets:
**SOLD! **A couple of 700Cx25mm Conti Competitions (Vectran+Black Chili), one glued with Mastic 1 and very low mileage (like you can’t see any wear), the other with a bit more mileage and a thin strip of tread worn slightly down a bit (but not squared). No embedded debris and both in really good shape with a couple thousand miles left in them. $50 US for both.
SOLD! The other set are Conti Competition 700Cx22mm (Vectran+Black Chili), one stretched/pre-glued (Mastic 1) but not installed, the other stretched but not glued. Both zero miles, obviously. $85 US for both.
The Competitions are pretty bullet-proof. Sure, they don’t roll quite as easy as a GP4000, but they’re rock solid for durability. You can train all spring with these as your “training tires” right on your race wheels, then head to your race without having to tear them off and still have a lot of confidence in these tires, knowing your odds of flatting are slimmer than most! The 25mm tires also give a really supple ride on rough surfaces, and fit quite well to wide rims. The 22mm tires might be better suited to roads with not a lot of chip-seal or big cracks and pot holes, or for slimmer rims. Conti Competitions go for roughly $125 each when bought retail. I’m selling for a good, fair price. All I ask is you pay the shipping and PayPal fee by using the gift option.

I simply came back to this thread to update the availability because in the meanwhile, in another thread, a chap was looking for 22mm Conti Competitions, and we sealed the deal on those. Once again, I’m very sorry I missed your reply. I honestly wasn’t ignoring your offer, so please don’t feel it was a snub! I still have the 25mm Competitions, and to make amends, I’ll go $50 shipped with a “PP gift” payment for the two (meaning something like $35 in my pocket).

I’ve actually got another Conti comp 700x22 still mounted to the rear race wheel that was replaced by said disc. It probably has less than 100 miles on it. I could pull it off and send it your way with the other conti, if you like. Both were previously glued w/ mastik one.
