Did you try contacting softride? Buddy of mine called them, sent them a delaminated beam and they sent one back to him free.

Contacted Softride, but their out of stock. I should have bought one a few years back.

Maybe Softride is still honoring warranties? I called yesterday. But the main contact person was out until Monday. Was your buddies bike a newer FasTT or an older frame?
