WTB: older Kestrel 500sci or airfoil frame w/53-55 tt

Thought I’d troll the deep waters of ST again for one of Kestrel’s seat tube-less wonder frames - 500sci, 500ems, airfoil/KM40 are the viable options, I think. Color, aesthetics irrelevant, fork not necessary, only need a structurally sound frame that takes 650c wheels and has a 53-55cm top tube. If you have a beat-up or otherwise ugly frame sitting around gathering dust, I’m your market. Please don’t tempt me with a newer or pristine model, I can’t afford it :slight_smile: PM me if you have something that might work . . .

see my listing…I have one with a 52cm top tube for $350 frame/fork/headset/seatpost. Might work for you with a longer stem? andrew

Looks like your frame has received a lot of Forum attention - still no sale?

Your threaded fork is not real attractive because it limits my adjustment options, but the rest of the frame might work. Is the seat tube measurement 49 cm?

I’m considering another offer as well, so I’ll get back to you when I decide.
