I am looking for a new (or very lightly used) garmin soft HRM.
I would like either the newest strap (with dark grey on the elastic band), or the next one older (all black). I would prefer not the oldest one that is split between the snaps…see here: http://www.dcrainmaker.com/2012/08/how-to-fix-heart-rate-strap-chaffing.html
Let me know what you have. Depending on the version and age, my price range will shift between $15 and $40.
Just get a new polar strap from amazon or somehwere else. In my experience they are much better than the garmin one. More accurate and not prone to picking up noise like a flapping jersey/ shirt and have a quicker refresh rate as well.

I actually have a polar strap, but the garmin transmitter crapped out on me. I had replaced the battery once before and when it started dropping out again this week, I tried a fresh battery. No help.
The reason I prefer the newer straps is because I will have an easier time with a warranty replacement if it doesn’t last a year.
