I have a DA 10 speed BB. Bearings are as smooth as new and has low milage.

The DA (7700, “9 speed”) isn’t “cartridge type”, it’s unsealed needle bearings. The Utegra and 105 are sealed cartridge bearings, and more maintenance-free if you ever ride in the rain.

Yes, I stand corrected. What I meant to say was not an outer bearing BB, like the new 10-speed DA BBs.
