I am looking for a pair of compression calf guards. I am interested in both active and recovery. I believe I would wear a small.

Because I’m unbelievably cheap!!! Plus have a newborn on the way in a little over 4 weeks and need to watch the $$$$$
Off topic, but what is the purpose of the calf guards vice socks? I always see them next to each other in stores and wonder.
Just an FYI, if you want them for recovery as well, get the full sock. Calf sleeves are for use during workouts and racing only.

There are calf sleeves made specifically for recovery. SKINS makes some. They have stirrups around the feet, so they’d definitely be uncomfortable for during a workout. I’ve got a pair and they’re great. Still prefer my full SKINS tights, but the calf sleeves do serve a good purpose, too. Might just have to sleep in them tonight because my legs are fried!
I second that!! I actually need to look into some full tights as well for recovery after rides like today. HILLS! OUCH!!
