if anyone has a gently used or new one sitting around we can talk… also if anyone has any experience trying to get best aero fit on a road bike and would recommend something else im all ears. thanks
They suck. Put to much weight on the front wheel. use a Thompson setback turned around backwards . It dosn’t suck as bad. Still not great . At least you will have a great seatpost if you use it the normal way . Why carbon ? Get a real tri bike frame .
Thom
Too far forward can create problems with steering/handling. It might be wiser to find a FAST fitter, obtain your stack and reach numbers and then pick out a new(er)/used triathlon frame/bike.
I found one on eBay for around 50 dollars. I hate tt but the are necessary evil in stage races. After getting the seatpost I was able to get a much better fit. And with one or two training rides my power output was only 5% less than when I ride a tt on my hoods. There were guys in Colorado this week on road bikes…
I am happy with mine. It was cheaper than a Thomson. I don’t have one for sale but thought I would offer a different opinion on the seatpost.
