FWIW, I just got my Garbaruk in the mail and I like it a lot so far. Can’t recall if they do 4x100 for the modern Shimano cranksets, but you can get a used 5x130 crank really cheap and they make any size and color for that or compact 5x100.

They still make brand new lower-end Shimano cranks (Sora?) in 5x100 down to 165mm arm length.

So, an option for you if you’re looking for a 1x aero chainring.
