I’m looking for either a set of aero clinchers or tri spoke clinchers.

Don’t have a large budget but will not Lowball.

I ride a pair of spinergy stealth full carbon clinchers (1200$). Been riding them for a year. Fast, comfortable, rock solid and great reviews on roadbikereview.com. You can get the clincher version with the aluminum rim for around $750 (with their PBO spokes) or around $650 with regular spokes. 45 mm profile. Look sweet and are not as common as zipps. mine weigh 1500. with the aluminum rim I think they weigh 17XX. About the same as competitors.

best bang for your buck in my opinion.

Both the Spinergy Stealth & the RITCHEY WCS look nice.

Where did you get your Spinergy’s from for $650?

ebay. There are a few pairs on there right now in the low 700s. They are all the ones with the PBO spokes. The ones that were 650ish were regular spokes and I do not see any on there right now. You mentioned you were hesistant about e bay. I bought mine from Kim’s Bike shop in new jersey so if you see a set from them they are reliable and shipped quickly to california.

I’ve got a set of 404’s clinchers, shimano, dimpled. Came as the stock set on my Archon, but I prefer my 303 tubies for the road bike. I was going to keep them for my tri bike but I did not race last year so these only have a couple casual training rides on them.

I don’t know if the OP found his wheels yet or not, but here’s some feedback: that has to be the worst business website I’ve seen lately. My eyes hurt just trying to look for the wheels. Fire your web guy (or hire one, if you’re doing it yourself).

I agree with the website observation!
One reason why I didn’t stay on it longer than 10sec.
Very difficult to find what you’re looking for.

I have 2-3 very nice offers and am just waiting for pics from one gentleman, then I’ll make my decision.

All involved have been very patient with me and great to deal with.
